YOUTH DEBATE SOCIETY LUND + PRATA PÅ PRESENT
SSDC 2018

ABOUT
SSDC 2018
The Swedish Schools Debating Championships also known as SSDC is the Swedish national tournament in high-school debating. SSDC is not only a challenging competition but an opportunity for young people from all over the country to interact with each other and engage in critical issues. This tournament is also where debaters of all levels of experience have a chance to be selected for the national team in debating. A position which allows high-schoolers to represent Team Sweden at the World Championships in 2019.
2018 is the first year in its history that the tournament is being hosted in the South of Sweden. Youth Debate Society of Lund along with Prata På bring you SSDC in Lund. We promise a weekend full of all the old delights of nationals along with additional quirks. This year we are adding two more inrounds, a quarterfinal, international judges and more socials.
